The Kengray Family Camp is a weekend of connection, laughter, and adventure for Scouts, Cubs, parents, and friends. Set in the scenic 4x4 ATV Club at Rust de Winter, it’s a place where families can unplug, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the outdoors together.
From early morning hikes to riverside picnics, to the smell of potjie simmering over an open fire, every moment brings a touch of the wild and a sense of togetherness. While the Scouts and Cubs work on nature trails and tracking challenges, parents can unwind with a relaxed cheese-and-wine tasting.
As the day fades, everyone gathers around the campfire — stories shared, songs sung, and stars reflected in smiling faces. It’s everything Scouting is meant to be: family, friendship, and a little bit of mud for good measure.
Friday 24 October: Meet at 1st Kengray Scout Hall at 15:00, leave by 15:15.
Sunday 26 October: Closing after lunch.
